Dr Anupriya Agarwal is an obstetrician and gynaecologist (O&G) at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore.
Apart from general O&G conditions, she has special interests in reproductive endocrinology, benign gynaecology and endometriosis.
She was formerly the head of the division of benign gynaecology and minimally invasive surgery at the National University Hospital. She also started the O&G clinic at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital in 2015 and stayed on as the head of clinical gynaecological services.
Dr Agarwal completed her bachelor’s degrees at Kanpur University, India and obtained her MRCOG in the UK. She has been running subspecialty infertility clinics for more than 15 years and has been independently performing all assisted reproductive procedures for over 10 years.
She was awarded the “Hind Rattan” (Jewel of India) by the vice-president of India for performing Asia’s earliest ovarian tissue cryopreservation and reimplantation, resulting in 2 spontaneous pregnancies and live births.
Dr Agarwal is a core teaching faculty of the residency programme at the National University of Singapore. She conducts undergraduate lectures and is part of the MBBS curriculum review team, as well as an examiner for the final MBBS exams. She has also been monitoring postgraduate students for over 13 years, and has been invited to train and examine the MRCOG exams in Singapore.
Her current research interests are in the field of polycystic ovarian syndrome and endometriosis, and outpatient hysteroscopy. She has authored, presented and chaired various international seminars and symposiums.
