Visiting a family member, friend or loved one during their stay at Mount Elizabeth Hospitals?

We seek your cooperation in following our visitor guidelines so that all of our patients receive adequate rest and support during their recovery.

Visiting hours and guidelines

General Wards

Our visiting hours are from 8.00am – 8.00pm every day.

Visitor guidelines

Please note that:

  • For each patient, 2 visitors are allowed to visit at any one time.
  • Children under the age of 5 are not encouraged to visit. (Our ward staff may be able to make an exception if the child is your own or your grandchild.)

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and High Dependency Unit (HDU)

We have two visiting slots every day:

  • 12.00pm – 2.00pm
  • 6.00pm – 8.00pm

Visitor guidelines

Please note that:

  • Only 2 visitors are allowed at any one time during visiting hours as ICU patients require ample rest.
  • Children under the age of 5 are not encouraged to visit. However, our ward staff may be able to make an exception if the child is the patient's own child or grandchild.

Guide dogs on hospital premises

Guide dogs on hospital premises

We are a guide dog-friendly hospital. Guide dogs are welcome on our premises to help our visually-impaired visitors and patients move around independently.

There may be areas in our hospital that guide dogs may not be able to access. If needed, please call our concierge before you visit:
