Dr Chai Chung Cheen is a renal physician at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore.

He graduated from the University of Malaya, Malaysia. He received the Health Manpower Development Plan award in haemodialysis vascular access intervention and did his training at Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians, UK and a fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
While at KTPH, Dr Chai was the clinical lead in the HALT-CKD programme (holistic approach in lowering and tracking chronic kidney disease). He has been practising medicine for more than 15 years.
