Dr Chee Kin Ghee is a specialist hand surgeon currently practising in Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore. He has extensive experience in treatments such as complex hand, wrist and upper limb injuries, wrist and finger joint replacement, minimally invasive hand and wrist surgery, as well as nerve compression release surgery.
Dr Chee has more than 16 years of clinical experience in hand and orthopaedic surgery. After obtaining his specialist qualification in hand surgery, he was awarded 1-year fellowship (HMDP by MOH) to world-renowned Wrightington Hospital Upper Limb Unit in the United Kingdom. Wrightington Hospital is the pioneer hospital for Joint Replacement Surgery and was recently ranked Top Orthopaedic Hospital in the UK and world.
During his fellowship Dr Chee was trained in the management of complex upper limb condition including complex joint replacement of shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand as well as state of the art minimally invasive upper limb surgery.
Dr Chee was the program director for Hand Surgery Residency Program in National Healthcare Group from 2016 to 2019 when he was in charge of training medical doctor to become hand surgeon. He was also a clinical senior lecturer in Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS as well as Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, NTU and contributed to educating medical students. Dr Chee is currently still a visiting consultant in Tan Tock Seng Hospital and continues to train residents towards their specialisation in hand surgery.
