Dr Pauline Cheong is an ophthalmologist at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital and Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore.
She subspecialises in paediatric ophthalmology, squints and cataract.
She is a visiting consultant at the Singapore National Eye Centre and KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH).
Dr Cheong graduated from the National University of Singapore. She was subsequently awarded a scholarship from the Singapore Government to train in ophthalmology at the Moorfields Eye Hospital, UK, and later pursued subspecialty training in paediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at Jules Stein Eye Institute, USA.
In addition to her clinical work, at KKH, she trains young ophthalmologists in examining and treating little children. She also contributes to the development of ophthalmology in Singapore as a member of the executive committee of the College of Ophthalmology Singapore, Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
