Dr Nicholas Chew is an infectious disease specialist practising at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Singapore.
He subspecialises in managing immunocompromised hosts (patients who do not have the abilities to respond normally to an infection due to impaired or weakened immune systems), as well as bone and joint infections.
Prior to entering private practice, he was a senior consultant in infectious disease at the National University Hospital (NUH), and headed their transplant infectious diseases department.
Dr Chew was the clinical director of NUH’s division of infectious diseases from 2012 – 2016.
He was also a former assistant professor at the School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore.
