Dr Felicia Chin is an obstetrician and gynaecologist at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore.
She subspecialises in gynaecological oncology. She is also an accredited laparoscopic surgeon in advanced laparoscopy for both cancer and benign conditions, and an accredited colposcopist with The Society for Colposcopy & Cervical Pathology of Singapore.
Prior to joining private practice, Dr Chin was a senior consultant with the department of gynaecological oncology at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH).
She graduated from the National University of Singapore and is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK. She was awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan award and completed her fellowship training in fertility sparing management in gynaecological cancers at The Royal Women’s Hospital, Australia.
At KKH, she spearheaded Singapore’s first gynae-oncofertility service, which provides holistic care for young women with early-stage gynaecological cancer, helping them to retain their fertility. Dr Chin was also instrumental in implementing the KKH endometrial hyperplasia management guideline, which standardises and streamlines care for women with endometrial hyperplasia. She has been practising medicine for more than 15 years.
Dr Chin is passionate about raising awareness on gynaecological cancers and patient advocacy. She sits on the board of the GyneCologic Cancer Group Singapore, and volunteers with the Himalayan Women’s Health Project, which performs yearly cervical cancer screening in Ladakh, India.
She has won numerous awards including the SingHealth Quality Service awards, Service from the Heart awards and the SingHealth 10-year Long Service Award.
