Dr Dinesh Nair is a cardiologist at Mount Elizabeth Hospitals, Singapore.
He has been in medical practice for more than 25 years, and in the specialist area of cardiology for more than 20 years.
He trained in advanced interventional cardiology at the Helios Heart Centre in Siegburg, Germany, which is known for its trials of cardiac devices and procedures including percutaneous valve implantation, novel arterial stents and coronary imaging techniques.
He completed his advanced specialty training in cardiology at the National Heart Centre Singapore, and worked as a cardiologist there before moving to Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) in 2006, where he was the director of the coronary care unit.
He is a visiting consultant to the Johns Hopkins Singapore International Medical Centre and the department of cardiology at TTSH.
He is a council member of the Singapore Cardiac Society, and the Chapter of Cardiologists at the Academy Medicine, Singapore.
He teaches and gives lectures at various international conferences and has published scientific papers in the field of cardiology.
Dr Nair has published several scientific papers and has a keen interest in teaching and research.
