Dr Elisa Koh is an obstetrician and gynaecologist practising at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Singapore. Apart from delivering babies, Dr Koh has special interests in the prevention and management of gynaecological cancers.
Dr Koh graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2001. She obtained her postgraduate qualifications in obstetrics and gynaecology from the United Kingdom in 2006.
Apart from obstetrics and gynaecology, she worked in various departments such as paediatric surgery, anaesthesia, general surgery and internal medicine.
Dr Koh’s interest in the prevention and management of gynaecological cancers began in the early days of her training in Singapore General Hospital, and further developed when she worked in the Department of Gynaecological Oncology in Kandang Kerbau (KK) Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
Dr Koh obtained further exposure in minimally invasive cancer surgery from Professor Nam Joo Hyun, a renowned gynaecology oncologic surgeon at the ASAN Medical Centre in Seoul, South Korea. Her passion in cancer prevention and major cancer surgery has defined her role as a healer, educator and advocate of women’s health.
