Dr Daniel Koh is an obstetrician and gynaecologist (OBGYN) at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore.
His clinical interests include reproductive medicine and infertility (intrauterine insemination and in-vitro fertilisation), maternal foetal medicine (management of high risk and complicated pregnancies), and family planning and abortion care.
Prior to joining private practice, Dr Koh worked at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH) in the department of maternal foetal medicine.
He graduated from Flinders University in Adelaide, South Australia, and completed his specialist training in OBGYN at KKH.
He has contributed to medical research by delivering oral and poster presentations at major international scientific conferences and publishing in research journals. He was awarded the best oral presentation prizes at the SingHealth OBGYN Academic Clinical Programme Education Day for two consecutive years. Dr Koh’s clinical research with mifepristone (RU486) led to significant improvement in the medical abortion care in Singapore. He is accredited by the Ministry of Health to perform termination of pregnancies in Singapore.
He held teaching appointments at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and Duke-NUS Medical School. He was an assistant professor at the Duke-NUS Medical School.
Dr Koh is a recipient of the Service from the Heart Award and SingHealth Quality Service Awards.
