Dr Annie Law is a rheumatologist at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore.
Her specialty is in rheumatology and immunology, while her subspecialty is in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
Her clinical interests include SLE, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, systemic sclerosis, Sjogren’s syndrome, vasculitis, antiphospholipid syndrome, and inflammatory myopathy.
Dr Law was formerly a senior consultant in the department of rheumatology and immunology at Singapore General Hospital (SGH).
She graduated from the National University of Ireland and completed her advanced specialist training in rheumatology at SGH. She was awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan award and did her fellowship at Monash University in Australia.
She has been actively involved in the research of SLE and was instrumental in setting up a prospective lupus database at SGH. She was also the main lead for the subspecialty lupus programme and clinic at the hospital.
Besides her clinical work, Dr Law is a core faculty member of the SingHealth rheumatology senior residency programme and coordinator for the department’s continuing medical education events. She is also involved in clinical research and has exposure to both pharmaceutical and investigator-initiated clinical trials as a co-investigator.
She is a member of the Singapore Society of Rheumatology.
Dr Law is a recipient of several Singapore Health Quality Service awards and Service with a Heart Award.
