He has been a Consultant Endocrinologist in Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre since 2004. He was previously a Senior Consultant in Tan Tock Seng Hospital and a Visiting Consultant to Thyroid Clinic at National Cancer Centre and KK Women's and Children's Hospital. He published over 60 clinical and research papers in peer-reviewed medical journals and authored several book chapters on various endocrine topics. Besides diabetes and general endocrinology, his special interest is in the management of thyroid diseases, including ultrasound-guided biopsy and sclerotherapy of thyroid nodules, radioactive iodine therapy, and thyroid cancer management.
Dr Loh has served in various Expert Panels including Ministry of Health Clinical Practice Guidelines on Diabetes Mellitus, Clinical Practice Guideline for Thyroid Cancer Management in the Asia Pacific Region, Drug Evaluation Panel of the Health Sciences Authority, and Singapore Civil Aviation Medical Board.
