Dr Nitish Mishra is an endocrinologist at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Singapore.
His clinical interests are in the management of diabetes, parathyroid, thyroid, pituitary, adrenal and gonadal disorders including polycystic ovary syndrome, hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism, hypercalcaemia, male and female hypogonadism, and thyroid cancer.
His expertise also includes the management of patients with obesity, hypertension, hyperlipidaemia, electrolyte disturbances, osteoporosis, Type 1 and 2 diabetes, hypoglycaemia and gender dysphoria.
Prior to joining private practice, he was a consultant endocrinologist at a private clinic that was based at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, another private hospital and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
Dr Mishra graduated from Nagpur University in India and went to the UK for his postgraduate training. He was subsequently selected in the National Training Scheme for specialist training in endocrinology and general medicine at the London Deanery. He later obtained his certificate of completion for specialist training in endocrinology and general medicine at Kings College Hospital, UK. He worked as a consultant in endocrinology at the North Bristol NHS Trust, UK.
He has been involved as a principal and sub-investigator in domain specific review board-approved prospective and retrospective research.
Dr Mishra was also appointed as a clinical lecturer at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.
