Dr Aaron Poh is a general surgeon practising in Mount Elizabeth Hospital.
His subspecialty is in colorectal surgery and trauma surgery. He also has a special interest in minimally invasive colorectal surgery, minimally invasive gallbladder and hernia surgery, surgery for complex anorectal conditions (eg. haemorrhoids, anal fistula, anal fissure, pilonidal disease, faecal incontinence, rectal prolapse, and anal cancer), advanced endoscopy, colonic stenting, and rib fracture fixation.
Dr Poh graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2004 and was accepted into the general surgery training programme in the following year. He completed his training in advanced laparoscopic surgery, pelvic exenteration and surgery for inflammatory bowel disease at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, in 2014.
He was then accredited as a specialist in general surgery by the Ministry of Health, Singapore in 2015. Since then, he’s served in Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH) and Tan Tock Seng Hospital as a colorectal and trauma surgeon and as a trauma service lead in NTFGH.
