Dr Tan graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the National University of Singapore. She completed her Master in Medicine (Paediatrics), Singapore and subsequently received her Member of Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, Edinburgh. She also completed her Diploma in Dermatology (Family Practice) from National University of Singapore. She is a member of the Singapore Paediatric Society.
Dr Tan started her private practice as a Paediatrician in Gleneagles Hospital since 2010. She is involved in numerous studies conducted locally as well as speaking at international conferences. She was awarded the ASEAN scholarship, the ExxonMobil-NUS Clinician Fellowship Award and the Human Manpower Development Programme Award. Dr Tan is involved in various community services and was awarded the Ministry of Community Development Long Service Award.
Dr Tan’s clinical interests include Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. She received her sub-speciality training at King’s College Hospital, London.
