Dr Tay Tunn Lin is an endocrinologist at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore.
She specialises in the management of all endocrine conditions, particularly diabetes and thyroid disorders.
Dr Tay was the former director of the diabetes centre at Changi General Hospital and continues to be a visiting consultant there.
She graduated from the National University of Singapore and obtained her post-graduate internal medicine degree and membership of the Royal College of Physicians, UK. She subsequently completed her specialist training in endocrinology.
Dr Tay has expertise in managing early onset diabetes from her years managing the young adult diabetes clinic in restructured hospitals. She was involved in setting up the service of managing young patients with diabetes transiting from paediatric to adult care as well as in charge of all diabetes-related management issues in the inpatient and outpatient setting. She has more than 15 years of clinical experience.
She is a recipient of the Care Award (Silver) and the Singapore Health Quality Service Award (Gold).
