Dr Steven Teo is an obstetrician and gynaecologist at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Singapore.

Besides treating general obstetrics and gynaecology conditions, his passion lies in helping couples with fertility problems and especially women who suffer from endometriosis, fibroids and ovarian cysts.

Prior to joining private practice, he was a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

Dr Teo graduated from the National University of Singapore and went on to train with the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, UK. He obtained his master’s degree from Singapore and became a fellow of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, UK. After receiving a Health Manpower Development Plan award, he did his specialist surgical training in Sydney, Australia, which led him to focus on performing advance laparoscopic surgeries for women with endometriosis, ovarian cysts and fibroids. He has been practising medicine for more than 20 years.

His passion in management of endometriosis has led him to sub-specialise in this field, as well as develop his surgical abilities to handle complex cases via laparoscopic route.
