Dr Dawn Teo is a fellowship trained, consultant Ear Nose Throat (ENT) surgeon. She is also the medical director of The Children’s Eye & ENT Centre and The ENT Specialist Centre.
Besides managing general ENT conditions, Dr Dawn Teo has a special interest in the management of paediatric ENT conditions including the treatment of snoring and sleep disordered breathing in children, airway problems, sinus conditions, allergies, hearing problems and sialendoscopy for salivary gland diseases in children.
Dr Dawn embarked on her Medical training with the National University of Singapore in 1995 and went on to complete her Specialist training in Singapore, where she graduated top of her cohort and was awarded the Academy of Medicine Gold Medal for Otolaryngology. After her specialist training, she was awarded the Health Manpower Development Programme fellowship and went on to pursue a clinical fellowship in Paediatric Otolaryngology in Children’s Medical Center at University of Texas Medical Center in Dallas, USA.
Over the course of her career, Dr Dawn has been featured as an invited speaker at numerous local, regional and international conferences. She has also published widely in multiple international journals and books chapters.
Dr Teo is an active member in the ENT community where she has been appointed honorary secretary of the Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. Dr Dawn also has a passion for teaching and believes in moulding the future generation of doctors. She served as Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School and she is an active teaching faculty for the Singhealth Residency program, where she was recently awarded the outstanding faculty award.
